It was great to see everyone, and if you attended either the Wi-Fi Security presentation or Andrew Walding's IPv6 presentation, you know there is a lot to learn and master when it comes to supporting various network protocols in your network and in the field.

We have a couple of great courses that are open for enrolment in November, written and taught by Mr. Walding that are focused on L2 Ethernet and TCP/IP - more of his courses are coming to Bismarck later.

Hands-On Ethernet Fundamentals

The course is a combination of knowledge training, systems analysis, with hands-on exercises using Cisco routers/switches and Cisco IOS, designed by CellStream consultants to bring the technician/engineer, who requires a deeper understanding of Ethernet and Storage Area Networking, focusing on ARP, Spanning Tree, VLANs, Etherchannel, MPLS L2VPN, and then relating this to Ethernet in the Data Center. A combination of knowledge training, hands-on exercises, and hands-on experience through execution of Command Line interface to Cisco routing/switching labs reveals the Ethernet functions in a swift, detailed, and understandable way.
