NVMe-oF Profile for Wireshark
NVMe over Fabrics (NVMe-OF) is an extension of the NVMe protocol designed to enable high-performance access to NVMe-based storage devices across a network fabric, such as Ethernet, Fibre Channel, or InfiniBand, rather than being limited to a local PCIe connection. NVMe-OF allows the benefits of NVMe, including low latency and high throughput, to be extended over networked environments, making it possible to access remote NVMe storage with performance close to that of locally attached storage. This makes NVMe-OF particularly valuable in modern data centers, enabling more scalable and efficient storage architectures for cloud services, virtualized environments, and other large-scale data workloads.
This profile helps you to focus on the specifics on the protocol for troubleshooting and analysis in Wireshark.
